Knife Party!
Last night was, to say the least, a big night for turntable.fm and #AnonFM.
At 9PM ET, Knife Party stopped by #AnonFM to stream their upcoming EP, Haunted House. The house was jam-packed with lots of eager listeners and awesome starting and closing acts such as Butch Clancy, KitFysto, and TutTutChild.

Turntable, Artists and Fans
Last night we had one of our biggest events in turntable history when the Australian house/dubstep duo Knife Party played a spontaneous show in #AnonFM. We had over 1,300 simultaneous users in the same room, almost double our previous record set by Passion Pit. It was crazy!
This was also coming off the heels of IceFest, an all-day music festival where 30 artists played new and unreleased songs...

Some time ago, we made it mandatory for new users creating an account to set an email and password. We recently began requiring all users, even ones who made their accounts a long time ago, to set an email and password.
This is to reduce the number of people whose accounts get completely lost as a result of some random bug with Twitter or Facebook. Sometimes a user will change their Twitter...
